I prefer strong women, I like a female whos independent, knows what she wants.
I know there are guys who are intimidated by strong women. So its a 50-50. Just depends on the guy.

I'm not intimidated by "strong" women at all, a lot of the women I work with are like that. If anything I have more respect for a woman who has her priorities in order and can hold her own, both in a professional and personal sense. I have no trouble working with, being friends with, or dating "strong" women. I have seen men however who are intimidated to various degrees by "strong" women in different situations. I guess it all depends ones own outlook.

Sometimes I think that they aren't intimidated by us, but yet love the challenge we present - so they work hard to get us to like them; they pursue very diligently to get our affection, and then when they accomplish that, their done! Game over! And they totally bail. They love the idea of a strong woman, and the idea of a challenge, but when it comes time to LIVE that idea, they aren't ready. At least that is the experience I've had, and I would consider myself a strong woman. Guys, am I right?

I answered a similar question some months ago. It's a pleasure to re-visit this issue. Here goes: A strong, self-assured man is not intimidated by a strong, self-assured woman. An insecure man, conversely, is.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You obviously have never met a strong man.
There are very few strong people in this world, only people who by virtue of the limitations of their experience have seen themselves as strong. That is, they are stronger than people around them, but they have not known that there are circumstances out there that would bring them to their knees.
I have met many women over the course of my life of all different levels of education, social standing, economic position, etc. etc. etc. and they all have one thing in common. Once they get to know me they become very needy and hardly strong and happy with where they are.

A little bit of both....but at the same time it depends on what kind of guy you're dating......a real man would welcome a strong woman, now an insecure guy would be intimidated.....
