C. S. Lewis is a very, very rare entity - someone who (allegedly) went _back_ from freethought into Christian belief.

We have thousands of great minds who turned their back on religion (does correlation imply causation? hmmmm...) but they have just a few. Let them have C. S. Lewis. It makes them feel better about themselves.

If you ask a question, and I know the answer, but CS Lewis explains it better than I can, and I quote him, will you not listen? What then, is the point of asking questions at all, if you don't really want an answer?

Actually I am not a christian I am an atheist. I have read Lewis' books and like them as works of fiction but don't necessarily agree with all he says. However, he does say some things that make good decent debates. Everyone is free to believe what they want you, myself and everyone else. Isn't that great about the world.

What's the matter is Lewis to deep for you? Would you rather we quote the Veggie Tales or Bible Man, or another format made for children under 7 so you can understand?

I love C.S. Lewis. He had great things to say. Some of us do care, even if we're not Christian. You can't speak for us all.

Given that he's accepted in the literary world as a great author, and given the fact that he approaches Christianity with logic, I would think he would be the one person others WOULD want to hear from...But whatever. You're absolutely entitled to be close-minded regarding religion. :)
