You don't control or get a guy to do anything. If you want a commitment, and he isn't committing, find a different guy who will commit. Gives us girls a bad rep to try to manipulate and try to change a guy. Plus if you do manipulate your mate, you will both be miserable in the long run.

be the type of girlfriend who is absolutely perfect; be willing to give him time to catch up and grow up to you on the level of committment. Be there for him, and show him what he will be missing without you, and without a committment. It is true that you can not force anyone to do anything, but you might be able to help him by giving him gentle nudges. Be the girlfriend that he always wanted........and more!!!!!!! Show him that you are perfect for him. Only you can determine how to do so, but if you do these things, he will eventually want to commit. The biggest suggestion: do not try to force him to commit, as this will only push him away. Do the things i suggested, and give him the time to figure things out, and he will figure it out eventually. it just takes some people longer to figure this out.

so you want a totally fre commitment= and i take it he isent ready right?/ how long have you benn going together etc, whats your finical picture do you have children together how many do you want, do you work does he?? you just cant go tosing a comittment at somebody unles you talk about these things above, theres a lot of baggage here hons, is he also ready too settle downe with you does he cheat drink?? look at the stuff above theres a lot to cobnsider in a committment i suspect your boyfriend is woried about your finical picture to, take my advice sit down with him face too face, and grill him, on what he trully wants from you in a mariiage too hons, you cant just expect him to take a commitment from you just like that etc hammer it out

He has to decide that for himself. If you pester him about it, you will push him away and he'll never do it. It is notoriously difficult to get a guy to commit.

Maybe you should come to your senses and see reality for what it is..
YOU CANT GET ANYONE TO DO ANYTHING. THEY HAVE TO DO IT THEMSELVES...
He wont commit unless HE want to.
