Salon Liberte...on Yonge Street.
They are excellent.
Highly recommended. They corrected some nasty stuff done by another salon. Highly professional staff.

In the states we have barber shops, and they cut hair for a living. I would look for something like that.

I really like L'Attitudes in the Eaton Centre. They made my hair look awesome. They knew what they were doing and I didn't look like everyone else from school.
