The dream act is an act that would allow undocumented students go to college, the chance to get federal help, and citizenship. What do you think is it just or what?

I think its just. How is it not fair. If citizens think its better to drop out and settle for minimum wages that their deal. If these undocumented students are making the sacrifice hell yeah they should get the benefits. Everyone has what they deserve. If school is not for you don't blame others for your misfortune or lost opportunity. By the way whatever your name is you're not educating anyone and definetly not me.

I think it's just and makes perfect sense. This is because the act only applies to college students who have graduated from a US high school. Even though they are undocumented and by all means illegal immigrants, they would have had to be children brought into this country by their parents.
In other words, they had no choice in the matter at the time the decision to become illegal immigrants was made by their parents. If they went through high school here, graduated and are in college, in my opinion they deserve a shot at legal life--they've made it this far, and will probably be productive citizens.

In state tuition is a subsidy given to those who are citizens of the state. There is not enough college funding for all of our own children to go to college, so why should we spend money to send those illegally here to college? We already paid for their very expensive education up to that point, at the expense of funding and quality of education for our own people.
I am against all of the employment and benefit magnets that draw illegals to this country, and that absolutely includes the dream act. That not only gives illegals benefits as if they were citizens, it gives more benefits than our own citizens from other states get. Moreover, it spends money that might otherwise fund grants and scholarships for our own children, who in my opinion have the first right to our Universities.

I think that's crap. Alot of American students struggle to afford the rising cost of college, but screw them right? How about a Dream Act for worthy Katrina victims?

If these students are paying tuition, then they can go to any American school to which they are accepted.

Never heard of it, so what's the deal? Are they now giving illegal alien college scholarships to criminals and allowing citizens to fall by the wayside? Sounds like some politician trying to get elected, a liberal democrat to be specific.

Your saying that someone whose very presence in the country violate our laws deserves an education at my expense that I would have to buy for myself. That is ludicrous.

No I do not think it is Just. Not until the Documented and average American is afforded the same opportunity. I'm sick to death of educating everybody else and letting our own fend for themselves.
