Yes, it is. I don't know what you mean when you say reliable, but it is always up and the software you download off of it is completely legal as far as I know.

Yes it's awesome, and recently they've tried to fight against softwares that had adware in them. It's a great place to try out new things. Many of the programs have free trials. It's cool because it's all-in-one and you don't have to go searching a million websites to see what's available for the certain type of software you are looking for. Besides software, there are also reviews and a million great articles as well.

it's reliable as far as downloading goes. as for the software programs you can download, it depends. some might contain spy/adware or trojans etc., but that's why i read editor and user reviews before downloading. i also pay attention to the number of times a certain program has been downloaded. and the last step i take, is to scan it with something like norton antivirus.
