I never thought about this before, but this must be true, if you accept your definition of the Creator of All Things. Isn't there just something that strikes you as a bit off about that? Just wondering.

God did indeed create Lucifer, the son of the morning.

He was "the anointed cherub that covereth" and was perfect in his ways from the day he was created, till iniquity was found in him.

But God says "I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire." Ezek 28:16 KJV

Hello friend,
I would hope that you have a more reliable source for Biblical answers than just an Internet forum.

While I believe you can get good answers here, there is no substitute for personal study of God's Book.

But regarding your question, God is the creator. No Christian would deny that. However, Satan, to use the word you used, may not be who or what you think. Furthermore, his history (if you mean the Devil), is a very interesting one, and can be found in the pages of Gods Book.

For some folks, repeating what they've heard is easier than doing
their own research.
Blessings,
2 Tim. 2:7

I think you mean atheists and if you would be an athiest you would belive God didnt create Satan because you dont believe in God at all.
As far as the bible goes, God did create Satan. Satan is a fallen angel that God had created. Lucifer tried to basicly take over heaven and thus was thrust out, so in truth, he was created by God and supposedly is part of Gods master plan. Whatever that is.

Yes, god created satan, but a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

But seriously, Satan was an angel until god banished him. He took some other angels with him, which became demons.
They still appeared as angels, which is why the bible says to be aware that things that may appear to be from god are from satan, since he appears good on the outside.

Yes, God is the Creator of all. Like us, God gave the Angels free-will. Like our first parents (Adam & Eve), Satan (the Angel of Light) refused to obey.

How does this conflict with God being the Creator?

No, satan doesn't exist. Not as a physical being. Only as a state of mind in your beliefs.

If God created a satan, then supposedly there is some "war" that God could not win. Not possible.

God did not create Satan, God cannot create evil, Satan was a true son of the true God, Satan became the devil by allowing pride to develop in his heart, he tried to make himself equal to God.

No, God created Satan as an angel named Lucifer and he was in charge of music and worship, Satan got conceited and thought of himself as mighty as God and was cast out with a third of the angels that sided with Satan when he wanted to take over.

God must've needed to create a good being to be his counterpart. After all, god has killed more humans than any other being in the universe. Satan has killed ZERO people. In fact, Satan was a teacher in the garden of Eden. He helped Adam and Eve gain knowledge. Here in America, teachers are revered!

God created Lucifer who became Satan when he fell from heaven.
Lucifer was the archangel who was very beautiful, and was responsible among other things for music. However he became proud and rebelled against God and he was cast out of heaven along with a third of the angels who became demons.
