I'll say something to him, he's not listening, and then will have the nerve to get mad when I wont repeat what I said. Or if I'm talking about something, right in the middle, he'll start talking about something else. Why are men so inattentive???

Tell him to call you when he's through watching tv. You don't want to hear that when you are talking to him. If you want to watch it you will. It's rude to listen to him describe what's going on. You didn't call him to talk about that. Tell him to stop that, or you stop talking to him, he can call you if he want's to talk and be respectable of your conversation.

First of all men have different brains then us.Men can only consentrate on one thing at a time.This is a proven fact.Now with woman we can do alot more.Thats where the phase scatter brain came from. We can focus on the phone,kids,doing dishes,and maybe the t.v all at once.Have u ever seen a man do that? No..Because their brain is different. So he might get mad do to he can't listen to you and the t'v at the same time. Why don't you see each other more and shorten the phone calls? Good luck

Not all men are inattentive, nor are all women. I'd say to him, "sounds like your busy and I really want to talk to you. Call me back when your show is over..." then say, "I'll let you go. give me a call when the show is over." Try this a couple of times. Take it from there. If he doesn't get the hint, then it's not worth your time!

At the very begining of the conversation, ask him if the TV is on. If it is, ask him to turn it off. If he refuses, say to him, politely, in a soft tone of voice, that you can see that he is busy and that you are going to hang up, and that he can call you later when he is free to talk. Then hang up. Do not whine, yell, be sarcastic or anything impolite. Just say your piece like butter wouldn't melt in your mouth. Then, when he calls back, state it again, and ask if he is ready to talk to you. He does this because you let him. If you refuse to induge him in his behavior, he will stop.

Just tell him to call you when the TV is off. How insensitive he is!!.. I think maybe I would use the "lost connection" trick. Tell him you are on the cell phone and the connection is bad. Or tell him your cordless is running out of battery. then hang up. Keep that up until he finally gets the hint if that is possible. Good luck.

i agree with alot of the privious answers but there is another mayb u should try talking about something else or just try talking about something that would intrest him coz he is obviously bored with the conversation

not all men are like that. obviously he is just not into you, or he has a.d.d. do not answer the phone when he calls and call a friend. go out and have fun!
