There will be even less peace.
Wars are fought for land, fame or eye-for-eye grudges, religion (or democracy) is just a lame justification. On the other side, religion does keep many other people from violence.
If you abolish religion, you wold have what happened in Iraq - people become wild beasts killing each other.

With out religion you would have total anarchy. With out it people would have no reason to be good. The only law would be mans law and what right does someone else have to tell me what to do. With out God there is no good or bad if someone molest a child, rapes another person ,murders a hole family, steals your life earnings it could be said that it isn't evil or bad but instead its just apart of human nature and completely natural. Without the fear of punishment after death or reward people would just live in the now and would do what they want when they want without any regard of his fellow man. The more atheistic this nation gets the more it moves into that direction just turn on your TV.
I would rather see a war between two able bodied nations of opposing religious factions fight over religion than a whole world thrown into anarchy. Oh and if you try to abolish religion all together you'll have a conflict the likes witch no one has ever seen, and were would this taking away of rights stop. Sounds to me like you would like to like in a communistic nation.

Let us try and have a country with no laws, like no religion to follow. What would happen there? It is the misapplication of the content of the scriptures that causes the wars. The Quran says "[4:3] If you deem it best for the orphans, you may marry their mothers - you may marry two, three, or four. If you fear lest you become unfair, then you shall be content with only one, or with what you already have. Additionally, you are thus more likely to avoid financial hardship". This means a man may take on a second wife only if the children of a widow are likely to gain.
What then happens in actual practise is not just this.
Muslim men practise polygamy for other reasons than that allowed by the Quran. This is just one example from one religion. Every religion has loads of misinterpretation by man, for whatever purpose. He then misquotes the scripture of his choice to justify his actions. This is one of the causes of the lack of peace.

World War 2 was largely affected by religion as Hitler's Schutzstaffel exterminated millions of Jews." This assertion is wrong. Hitler said he was religious, but once he started exterminating the Jews, he largely credited the atheistic social darwinism. That's right, atheism was responsible for WWII. More people have been killed in the name of atheism than religion. Atheism has 30 million dead from just two of its proponents. Scriptures that have no validity? Surely you don't mean historically? It is proven that we have more reliable copies of NT scripture than any other historical document. Thousands, in fact. So much so that their hisoricity cannot be denied.

the illusionist Chris Angel has already done everything the bible claims Christ did. Most people with a brain know that their religion is BS but that religion gives them an excuse to not have to think critically about their lives and how they affect others . If religion was abolished we would have to kill all those who still believed this tripe crap. Which is exactly what's going on in the middle east. These are religious wars and we need to let the death unfold in order to reach that Utopia of a religious free society. Kill em all.

There will be global peace on this earth-----twice. Once when the Anti-Christ comes, and the last peace will come when Christ comes back and takes over for good.
The first global peace----will be for the con-men, the smart allecks who just couldn't go a day without blaspheming God, demeaning the Power of Christ, and haranging on Christians. Because you will know that the Anti-Christ will be accomplishing what was foretold by God. Then, the faithful in Christ will be taken away to safety and paradise, while the rest of you will live through horrors that even Steven King couldn't dream up.
I pray that you will accept Christ in the Tribulation, if you can live through it.

Forget Religion, the historical fact of the matter is that the more WAR the more PEACE. We need a HUUUUUGE war. One that makes WWII look like a minor disturbance. After the smoke clears, whoever is left standing will have peace on Earth for at least 100 years or more.

I see where you're going, but I don't think ending religion would end world conflicts. People can and have fought over other things. There were fights over the "right" to hold slaves, there are fights over oil. Besides, Stalin's Russia was officially atheist, as is Castro's Cuba--they are not peaceful places.

All religion can't be abolished, because people need to believe in a higher power. Its part of out nature and thats how most religions came to be.
*And there is a lot of proof supporting Christianity

Most conflicts have been brought about because people and countries don't really follow their religion. A few radical leaders have warped the religion to suit their wishes. If every one lived as God intended we would have peace, also no STD's or aids.
