I don't think Christians are the only people who feel upset when they are bashed, mocked, or insulted.

Remember the outrage when a Danish newspaper posted comics insulting Mohammad?

Remember the riots in Ohio earlier this year when Neo-Nazis protested in a dominantly black neighborhood?

So yes, anyone who is part of any group, be it religious or not, can be upset when somebody bashes, mocks, or insults it.

Oh, and if you asked this question with the sole intent on trying to mock Christians like you have with your other questions, you should be ashamed. Have an open mind, even if some of them don't.

Hmmmm... sounds like you are ignorant. There is a separation of people and God. What does God have to do with a Christian's inability to be mocked, bashed, etc? It does not show that God is senile or vulnerable. You silly boy, go get a life.

After reading most of these answers, I felt that I needed to respond to your concerns and some of the answers that you have gotten. First of all Christians should never threaten you, call you stupid or any of the other insults that you were thrown in these answers. If they are trying to get you to listen to the message of Christ then it is only because He has commanded us to do so. If your friends are trying to talk to you then it is because they care what happens to you. However, He also commanded that if a person refused to believe, we were to leave that person alone. I would never presume to tell you that you are going to Hell. That is something between you and God and it would not be my place to give that condemnation. I would however wish for you the peace and joy that I have known because I have the Kingdom of God within me. Of course I get upset when people insult my beliefs, but as a Christian I expect these things. It is part of being a follower of Christ. On the Other hand, it would be very wrong of me to retaliate in any unkind or insulting way. That is unchristian. When Jesus said "turn the other cheek," he meant it.

Well, let me see. Bashed, Mocked, and Insulted?

Wow, you don't have many friends, do you? Especially if you bash, mock, and insult everyone you ever disagreed with.

No, it's a sign that they've had their feelings hurt by someone who is hateful and vindictive. That's a pretty universal reaction by ANYONE who is abused.

And who exactly "threatened" you with their god? If a person believes your house is burning down and they tell you about it, does that make them threatening? Even if they're mistaken?

Christians can't threaten anybody with their God because we have no control over that God.

And if you look at it from our point of view, it would be pretty perplexing when you come over to warn someone their house is burning and the guy comes to his door denying he's got a proplem.

You don't have to agree with everything Christians believe, but why can't you be civil?

You know, now, that's ironic. Another user just posted a similar question about Muslims. And everyone who answered him answered in an angry and insulting way. Several people reported him, and he claims he's even gotten death threats.
And now, here you are, saying the same thing about the Christian God. The difference in the answers you are getting to your question are staggering...
I don't usually answer questions like this, but I'm making an exception tonight, because it's just too much of a coincidence. Here I am, a Christian, and my first instinct is to smile.
Jesus has lived through this kind of mockery before. And so has his church. We expected it, in fact, we welcome it.
Mock away, my friend, if that is what you feel a need to do. God still loves you.

This question is very ludicrious. This is because any person would feel upset if their religion was" bashed, mocked or insulted". This does not prove AT ALL that their God is vulnerable, but it just proves that THEY themselves have had their feelings hurt. Ofcourse no one wants to hear others mocking their religion. Anyone would feel upset. You need to realize what kind of questions your asking before you ask them. You cant just ask a question like this towards one particular religion, or peoples, because it applies to everyone.

No. In order to formulate an argument, you must support the premise. Just saying it doesn't work. The theory behind this is truth can stand up to scrutiny, which is, ironically, what you are indirectly saying about Christians who complain. Although I obviously agree, your argument does not show a problem with God; it shows a problem with people.

No, but it is a sign that you feel vulnerable when you have to resort to mocking, bashing and insulting to get your point across.

It isn't God that's vulnerable, it's the humans. I am sure you would feel the same way if a large number of people belittled and made fun of something you hold dear.

I get upset because I am human and what you say can be offensive. MY GOD is not vulnerable, after all , he already has it handled it is I who need to trust more in him and let fools like you make your own paths of destruction.
