im pro choice, no matter what the situation. A woman's body is her own.

pro-choice vote here, but you know its a "when does life begin," versus a "no one is going to tell me what to do in my specific situation and resources" conflict.
Some say not in the 3rd trimester, and most are vehement about this and I wonder what kind of replies you expect. Is this for a class? survey?
In the case you present, I would choose the mother over the baby, but I am a guy who can't relate to the love a mother has for an unborn child.
In the case of rape, DEFINITELY pro-choice. Personally I wouldnot want the baby because I might either hate it as it reminded me of the even, or I'd be reminded everyday of an event I wouldn't want to think about every day.
I want to see 100% pro-lifers live upto their beliefs with gray areas like rape and so on...I bet its like gun control. You get at the mercy of another person with a gun, and suddenly owning a firearm seems okay and understandable.
If yo uare in this situation, PLEASE do NOT buy into the idea you are killing a baby!! Only insenstive, but well-meaning people do this guilt trip thing. If its your situation, its YOUR situation. YOU live with your decision. I would tell them to shut-up, you will consider their viewpoint. That's why I would keep it quiet until you know after the fact that whoever you tell will not lecture you, judge you or cuase you to feel bad about yourself! If its your situation, good luck, if not, that's another opinion for you.

Against.
It doesn't matter if the female was raped; the baby inside is still a living human. (Hasn't anyone every heard of adoption?) But if the female might die---I would consider abortions. Other wise; abortions are WRONG!

I'm against abortion in all cases. In the case of rape, the child should not be sentenced to death for the crime of her father. Furthermore, when a woman aborts a child conceived in rape, SHE becomes the aggressor, hurting another innocent victim the way she was hurt, and the knowledge of what she has done will haunt her for the rest of her life. Also, abortion sometimes allows child molesters to continue their abuse undetected. For more on this issue, see:

Over 480 American doctors have signed a statement saying abortion is NEVER necessary to save the life of the mother:

NO ONE IS EVER FOR ABORTION, BUT WOMEN HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE: We must distinguish between who is pro-life and who is simply pro-birth. So many conservatives, including George Bush, are pro-birth only. After a child is born, he or she is on his own and can expect little support in life from these "so-called" pro-lifers.

I'm pro-choice. It might not be the decision I would make, but faced with something like that, I'd be glad to have the option to choose. Also, I would never take away that right from another woman.

Tough one...

Impossible to determine whos life is more valuable.

Wasn't the girls fault she was raped, but it isn't the childs fault for being conceived.

Rapped..Give the baby up for adoption. It is not the baby fault.
If the mother is in danger then I guess it's between the father of the baby and God.

i think a women should be able to do whatever she wants
but if she's using it as some kind of birth control then she should not be aloud to get it done anymore i think anything after two should not be aloud
