he is very shy and he wants me and my husband (his best friend) to find him a nice girl. however since he is shy when we find a cute girl, he gets embarrassed and wont talk to her. what should i tell him? where is a good place other than a bar for single men to meet single women? i am running out of options for him!!

Instead of throwing him a fish, teach him how to fish.
That is, instead of finding a girl for him start finding ways to help him be less shy. He lacks self confidence and social skills. Ease him into the process. There must be a book on this topic. Then he will be able to find his own girls.
There are books for children called, "The Shy Child: Helping Children Triumph over Shyness" and "The Shyness Breakthrough". There must be an equivalent for adults.
You sound like really good friends.

Introduce him to the Internet. Let him chat and flirt and build confidence here then he will be more outgoing. I met my husband on line and we have been together for 3 years now he is the best. I was so shy when I first started dating. But getting to know the person on line first help me not be so shy around them.

Well you can find a person that have chemistry with him like you can either find a person and then you and your husband and his best friend should go out on a little food and then tell you friend to come in and just pretend like it wasn't suppose to happen and introduce him to her and make them talk and everything so yeah or you can go to eharmony.com

find a friend of yours tht is single and get them to meet hopefully they hit it off and tell your friend that he is shy

Do this first, take him to a hypnotherapist to give him more confidence to talk to anyone, no matter who. Then he will find his own dates and leave you out of it.
He's just plain stupid, asking someone to do this for him.
