i have a windows 98 second edition and when i installed a new 3d accelerator it told me to upgrade my drivers howww?????

Since you said you just installed a new 3D accelerator you should have the box, paperwork that came with it. There should also be the 3D accelerator's card maker's web site address.

such as www.ati.com, www.nvidia.com, etc...

Go to the manufacturer's website and look for updated drivers. However with Windows 98, there may not be many newer driver options.

Best thing you can try is Microsoft website. Other than that. Do what they above poster said. Go to the manufacturers website to find drivers. It will be hard considering you are using 98. Its a good OS though. =)

For each device you want to upgrade, go the the Manufactures web site. They have a download section, and you will pick the device you are upgrading from the list. When you click on Download (for that product), it will drop the software onto your computer, then ask you to run it. Done.
