If your girlfriend of 4 months asked you to show papers that you were divorced, is it enough to break up the relationship?

Are you kidding me? She is asking you a legitimate question. You claim you are divorced. Now prove it. When I applied for my job I had to show them my social security card or a passport. They wouldn't take my word for it -- imagine that!
Your girlfriend wants to make sure you are truly available and not just using her. If you break up now over this request, what would she think? What would anyone think? Makes me wonder why this legitimate request is bothering you so much. Listen bub, you do not have the right to insist that people trust you. Don't be ridiculous. You must earn trust. Right now you are flunking.

No, she may have a hard time trusting because she has been lied to in the past by someone, or has experienced someone else's relationship where there is deciet. Or maybe she is just skeptical by nature. This makes for a good buisiness woman and at least you know that you won't have to support her.
There could be many reasons why she is asking, don't dump her over that. But if you want to dump her, that means that you are not into her enough to be patient with her. Maybe you don't really love her that much, but maybe you should give her a chance.

Of course it's not a good reason to breakup. If you are divorced, what's the big deal about showing her your divorce papers? Unless of course yo're not divorced, then you're a complete jackass!!!
Did it ever occur to you that this might not be about you? Maybe she was cheated/lied to by a man in a previous relationship, and she just wants to be sure that you're being honest with her.

No maybe she has had people lie to her before allot of guys lie about being divorced she just wants to make sure that you are telling the truth she will learn to trust you in time just be patient till then.

omg deffinatly not. Shes just showin she wants to trust u n needs proof. Shes probably been lied to so many tyms n shes interestid in u ALOT so she wants to make sure she aint wastin her tym wit u n she'll trust u more once u show her the papers.

No it is not. Is there some kind of signal she is getting that she should feel like seeing is believing? If you have nothing to hide show her. Maybe she wants this relationship to go further with no suprises.

NO, if you care about her do not break it off.She obviously loves you very much and wants to make sure that you still dojnt like your wife or are cheating on her. ( I know that sounds corny but she was obviously worried and would not have asked if she didnt care)

No, I don't think this is worth breakin up for. Most of the time, when girls do things like that, it's just their own insecurity acting up. It just shows she cares in another way of lookin at it.
