Abortion is not about wanting a baby living in a womans womb...it's about the consequences after the child is born. Nine times out of 10 a woman is not going to go through nine months of pregnancy, and who knows how many hours of labor just to give her kid away...just giving you the facts. In the Webster's Dictionary murder is defined as the crime of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought. A mother who kills her daughter because she doesn't want her living in her house is a murderer. Obviously there's some friction between the mother and daughter if she doesn't want her living in the house, that's grounds for malice. A woman who makes the decision to not keep a rapists baby, a child molesters baby, a baby that has high risks of having mental disabilities, or even if it was just unplanned, is not a murderer. Also some women have a tendency to subconciously hate their children depending on who the childs father is, and if the father is or isn't still around. So the mother is just making a decision now, so that in the long run she won't be subjecting this child to any abuse from her or by way of an adopted family. By this I mean, kids in the foster care system are often emotionally and physically abused.

Women sometimes have abortions for other reasons besides just "not wanting them living in the womb". I had an abortion and it was THE BIGGEST mistake of my life, I regret it everyday but for some women it is better than having a baby because often the unwanted babies do end up dead or left in a dumpster some where so NO ONE should judge other people. You don't know what that person is going through unless you are that person so you should keep your judgements to yourself.

I would say however that Murder is Murder regardless how it was commited and when.
It is society that trys to paint that line in the sand. but the problem is that sand moves , as does the line. Just like late term abortion is ok as long as the head of the Baby does not come out of the women. but if a minute old baby is killed then it is murder. See the fuzzyness. I certainly do.

and for mask girl and CVT or what ever you are called, first off, life is life, it begins at conception. not when you are born. and CVt when you can carry a baby and feel it move in you then tell me it is not alive.
Grow up and get educated.

The one living in her house can be sent elsewhere, to live with someone else, without harm. Can be handed off to a relative or even to strangers to raise.

The one in the womb is going to cause the mother great pain, stress, possibly permanent physical damage, possibly make her lose her job or her education, and might even take her life--even in a healthy woman.

The two cases are not the same. If someone standing *outside* of you were doing the amount of damage to your body that the baby inside is doing, you'd be within your rights to strike and possibly even kill that person--even if you'd invited them into your house.

The short answer is there is no difference. However it is possible that the mom who has an abortion may be ignorant to what she's really doing. If we're talking about a scared teenager she may have no idea that's she's killing a real baby.

Because a baby in a womb is still part of that woman's body, and so it should be her choice what to do with it. I don't believe the soul enters the body untill the baby exits the womb.

An embryo is not a person. The cells in your body of the potential to grow part of your body just like an embryo is a collection of cells that have the POTENTIAL to become a human being. But if you cut your hand, are you murdering those cells? Will you go to hell because you killed some cells that could have helped grow some new skin?

It's not murder if the thing isn't alive; that's the difference. It has been SCIENTIFICALLY PROVED that a fetus is not alive by animal standards until 3 months into the pregnancy. Therefore, it is not murder, and only foolish ultra-conservatives, with their narrow-minded nonsensical anti-internationalist views, claim that it is murder. Comparing abortion to murder is like comparing apples and oranges; no, apples and cats. It would make just as much sense to say that Bush isn't an idiot.

The abortion topic is a tough one. I am pro life. But I also understand situations that might make folks choose that route. Depending on the pregnancy.. the baby gets a heart beat about 10 weeks into it. If you are a person who is choosing for whatever reason, if the heart beat is there.. it is murder... but if not? and cells are still splitting and doing their thing, it is not murder.
