I mean they generalize us because of a few that chose the dum way out. Since coming to light I have never loved my fellow man like I do now. Islam has taught me a great deal of how not to discriminate and love my fellow man. BUt when you listen to the answers that the people here think of muslims they speak of what they do not know and what they feed off of from the media. If we were to say that christianity is a cult of murderers because of David Keresh or Jim Jones we would be wrong. Just watch some idiots arent even going to read all of this and show his or her ignorance. peace and blessings be upon you all

There are some TERRIBLE rumors out there that ""The Peace of Saladin is Over"" and some mullahs have declared a Holy War on a country or two.

Of course we know this is NOT True.

All of the muslim world is REALLY at PEACE with the Word,
and particularly we notice that ALL of the various Sects are Loving each other to death.

I'm sure that there are lots of nice Moslems that just want to live and let live... but they're not the ones that we're worried about. We're worried about the ones like this:

"Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled and incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world.

But those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world….Those who know nothing about Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless. Islam says: Kill them [the non-Muslims], put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]. Does this mean sitting back until [non-Muslims] overcome us? Islam says: Kill in the service of Allah those who may want to kill you! Does this mean that we should surrender to the enemy? Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! The sword is the key to Paradise which can be opened only for Holy Warriors! There are hundreds of other [Koranic] psalms and Hadiths [sayings of the Prophet] urging Muslims to value [Koranic] psalms and Hadiths [sayings of the Prophet] urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all that mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim." ~ Ayatollah Khomeini

Don't get the wrong idea... I'm not saying that right wing Christian fundamentalists are any better.

One word: propaganda.
Extremists make the news a lot easier than peaceful people who wish no harm. So that's used to generalize the whole population and give excuses for the behavior of the foreign military forces

Unfortunately, there is a tendency in our society in general, and in Christianity to have to demonize that which is different. Right now Islam is being stereotyped and demonized in order to fuel support for an injust war, and to continue a so-called war on terror. People would rather remain in ignorance than try to open their minds and perhaps have to change their minds about something.

We read your Koran and Hadith and find justification for all the hateful things that "a few Muslims" do. Also, a majority of terrorism is conducted by Muslims. In addition, "moderate" Muslims do not condemn terrorists but always find ways of justifying their actions (usually by blaming Israel or the US).

cause most hate Israel, whether or not they kill. They want Israel out of that area, instead of trying to live with them. Almost every Muslim I know thinks like that. Peace to them is to control all of the areas there god supposedly gave them. Not the living together and share the country in a peace full way (living, accepting and sharing)

Muslims that don't go around killing infidels aren't being obedient to their religion.

I understand that the koran contradicts itself, so if you're a hate-filled person, you can believe the verses attributed to Mohammed in his later years, or if you are a normal person, you can believe in the happy gushy stuff from his early years.

But you can't be a muslim and ignore the fact that the koran commands you to kill innocents simply because they won't accept your religion.

So, are wanting people to believe that all the Muslims in the world aren't wanting to kill all the other people that refuse to become Muslim.

mostly because of what you said, the few are making such a mess of things that the many get labled. but the thing is that we need to find out who is actualy suporting these actions, those are who we need to take out, not put on trial.
