I know we wear them for weddings or special events, but are there women out there that wear them to work instead of pantyhose? I've heard they are coming back.
Please, only reply if you wear them regularly. I'm curious as to the benefits.

It's hard enough getting used to wearing pantyhose.

I wear them when I go out in the evening, or for my husband at home. I am a soccer mom and real estate agent, so running around all day its pantyhose or nothing, but when Its my time, always stockings and a garter belt.

Well, you asked so I will answer. No I do not wear a garter belt ever. Some people wear them with stockings instead of pantyhose. I don't know anyone who wears them regularly. I decided to answer because I don't think you will get any answers because no one does wear them regularly. so this is so you will get some kind of answer.

Yea, every day to work, and anytime I wear heels or dress up, which is a lot lately. I hate pantyhose, and hold ups are nearly as bad. Stockings are so sheer and light, I can wear them 10 hours a day which is what I do.

I to wear thigh highs the elasitc top makes the panty hose stay in place. I hear that the garter belt can be worn at weddings and they made a difference at the highschool prom. good luck.

Garter belts are usd as support for leggings (stockings) to keep them up. look at the word belt, like belts hold up pants. Panty hose have support built in. That is their "benefit".
Today it is a fashion choice , usually to entice; I only wear them on Saturday night when I go out looking for Mr. Wrong.

I've got a pair of thigh highs, but the tops are elastic so a garter belt is unnecessary. I prefer thigh highs, unless I'm wearing something tight and I need the help of control top. :p
