No. Bricks are baked from clay. Asbestos is the world's best insulating product. It would hinder the manufacturing process by not allowing heat flow.

I never heard of it being used in brick , but its been used in dam near everything else, from Siding, Floor tile, Tile cement, Sheetrock mud and texture.
