I like the idea of an Egyptian name. Bast, Bastet, or Hathor would all be good for a female cat. If you name her Hathor, you could call her Hattie. With all these suggestions, give her a few days to let you know which one she picks out. Watch her behavior, it should give you a clue. Remember that for thousands of years cats were worshiped as goddesses, they have never forgotten this. So, a goddess name is not a bad idea.

The cat I grew up with that is nearly seventeen years old is named Alley after the girlfriend of Daniel-san in the Karate Kid.

Button :) I think that's a cute name for kittens with different coloured paws to the rest of their bodies.. and my friend once pointed out it reminds him of the "paws button" on a vcr. lol. so i fell in love with it
