Well if that's true tell me why Jesus said there wasn't suppose to be any more prophets, and yet along came Muhammad, who also said there will be no prophets after him. Now I do have a theroy on that, and it goes that there shall be no more prophets for that group, so each group only gets a set amount of prophets, asians=buddha(and a few more Im sure), hebrews=moses, and although not there kind but was there teacher whities=jesus, the only one I dont feel has had a prophet yet is people of afraican decent, so we are trying out alot of other prophets teachings untill they come, unless our prophet was one of jesus' friends, John the Baptist, but not likely, and I know Im leaveing out other groups, but I dont know the other groups
---------------------
Also the quran is a book of alot of seperate texts, most of the quran is contributed to the Jedo-Christain texts, while Muhammed was a trader, trading between areas of the holy land, and picking up these text, there is also book about Jesus that is not in the bible, books about his childhood, also the quran put everything that was writen in the time it was writen to insure nothing is false, or tampered with, they weant about adding every ancient text to it, think about this they have a picture of Jesus with a halow of fire around his head as a baby, becase one of the stories added is about Jesus being a brat, pushing ppl off buildings the proving he didnt do it by reviving them, I think this story takes place before he disapears, so therefore the quran is not a continuation, but a sepreate text, because Christains wouldnt want to say there savior was also a brat

Islam began in 600 AD.....they do not have the same God or agree with the Jewish or Christian Scriptures. Muhammad was never a Jew or a Christian but a pagan from Mecca. Jesus fulfilled 300+ prophesies and muhammad is not even mentioned in the bible. The bible calls God YHWY, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, God of Isreal....the muslims call god a generic word for god "allah" which was in existance before muhammad as a pagan god as the moon god. (Moons are on top of mosques and the false light symbol represents Islam) The muslims say Jesus was not the Son of God but the New Testament says this many times. The New Testament says that Jesus rose from the dead and the quran does not. The muslims believe they are from the family of Ishmael but God called Ishmael a wild donkey and was banned from the land of Abraham because Isaac recieved His blessing as the one through Gods people would come from. The quran is not a continuation. It is a false book of a false god of no peace, no salvation and no love for your fellow man.

Yes, we knew that. Judaism is the foundation for Christianity, and Islam continues from Christianity. I don't know why people believe so many lies about religion, and think that one is evil and one is good. There are extremist in every religion.
The importance of the Old Testament as reflected in the influence it has had through the centuries can scarcely be overestimated. Its religious significance is indicated primarily by the fact that it is recognized as a part of the inspired sacred literature of three of the major religions of the world. First of all, it was the sacred Bible of Judaism and is so regarded at the present time. Along with the New Testament, it is included in the Bible of Christianity, and it holds a similar place in the religion of Islam, for the followers of Mohammed accept its teachings along with those of the Koran

actually... no
almost the enitre New Testament is quoted by early church fathers before the 2nd century was done showing the New Testament is highly reliable
see Ron Rhodes
"...There are enough quotations from the early church fathers that even if we did not have a single copy of the Bible, scholars could still reconstruct all but 11 verses of the entire New Testament from material written within 150 to 200 years from the time of Christ...".

salvation in the New Testament involves many issues, but Jesus as Som of God, Jesus dying on the cross and the believer being adoptted as God's child are two important ones
A better description of salvaiton than what I can do is given here

The Muslim religion was developed by a man not a God.
The Muslim religion was built on another pagan religion, actually a very terrible pagan religion..
The Muslim religion is based on mans deeds not in belief of Jesus as the Son of God and does not agree with His resurrection and ascension into heaven.
I don't think Muslim woman are treated as well as Christian women in the faith. Jesus freed women from many aspects of their downtrodden positon in that time, making us equal with men.
I don't remember Mohammed raising anyone from the dead, nor healing the sick or the blind etc.
The last prophet was Jesus because He is still living and still able to intercede for us, we don't need another.
Jesus does not promise us 17 virgins ( sounds worldly to me) but eternal life with Him in a perfect world/new Jerusalem.
Jesus was told about in the old testament and He has come and risen, no where does the Bible discuss the Muslim religion.

Uh, oh! Bad grammar. The question is poorly written. You must be muslim. Christianity was around long before Mohammad invented his own religion. Islam is so far different from Christianity that they are not comparable.
If Mohammad had obeyed the word of God, he would have been a Christian and there would be no ignorant muslims today.

Islam is not a continuation for the bible they are 2 separate religions Yes they were both inspired by God ,but separate. No matter how you choose to see it. Another thing to remember God, never gave us a religion. Man-kind changed everything into a religion. But all we were truly given was a way of life....
P.S. and it was the Catholic that started the universal Church. and gave us pleanty of Gods to worship.

Then what are all the other so-called religions that came along afterward? Like the Book of Mormon, for example. It says its the last. Also mentioned in the Book of Revelation are the words that no man shall add unto these words... Which if that is the case, makes your Quran null and void. I am not intentionally bashing anyone's faith, so no nasty emails, please. I believe in a person's right to believe in what they choose to believe. But I resent it when people try to shove their beliefs on me if I choose not to agree with them. God (by whatever name you call Him) bless you.

The root of all Judeo / Christian / Muslim religions is the OLD TESTAMENT.
And that book (while containing many wisdoms) is merely a History book.
If you believe in God then that belief is within you.
God can be called by 89 different names according to the Qu'an.
For me GOD is GOD no other name is apt.
