by the way it takes a while to get to know people, but when i do know them im such a completly different person, i mean if you dont know me i think i can be quite rude but i dont mean to be cause i kinda brush people off or even completly ignore them, and i so dont want to do that! but once you get to know me im such a bubbly chatty person you wouldnt think its the same person.. my close friends would say i have alot of confidence, but people who dont know me think im shy and dislike them which most of the time i dont, i keep sending wrong signals out especially to lads..

Seriously, don't worry about it. Being in a relationship is not the end all be all. In fact, I will bet that most of your friends will not be in their relationships in a year. Eventually you will find a guy that will talk to you and try to make it easy for you to talk to him. I know this all soudns lame but, it's true. Don't worry, be happy.

Have you ever done something that was entirely out of character for you? I think you need to find that in you and go out and join a club where know one knows your so shy. Take a friend with you who knows what you are trying to do so you can have some support. Join a club that interests you. Learn a new dance. Matter fact taking a dance class like ballroom and salsa for example are good ways of getting you out your little shell because they partner you up with people. You know being you doesnt work and you need to find a place where you can start fresh and act the way you wished could be.

you are right - it just isn't fair. I am 21 and love has never been my friend. I would give the right guy the world if he came along though, he has not. Patience is all you need. You know you are fabulous ! Someone somewhere is waiting for you as you are waiting for him. As for being shy, slowly get out of the box no matter what that takes. If you are frustrated now, it's going to be one long ride. Just sieze the day ! Wait til you are in your twenties and all your friends are getting married! SO no fair but I have no want to rush into anything. best wishes to you. Love will come slap you in the face when you least expect it.

Have a big talk with yourself. You can change your attitude. Tell yourself that you are not shy anymore. Did you know that being shy is really being self absorbed, self centered? It's really true. I'll bet your not really like that. Decide beforehand what topics you will talk about with a guy. Practice at home. Pretend you are an actress and practice talking in front of your mirror and see how you do. Practice a lot. Soon you will begin to feel self confident. NOW, go out and WOW them. (I mean him).

First, you must deal with your shyness. You must break out of the bubble you have around you that protects you from the fear. Go to the library and look up books on shyness. There's a good one called , "Dying of Embarrassment." It's the URL below. Once you can overcome your shyness, you will meet more guys, and you will have beaten your anxiety. Good luck.

Well normally if you're shy, you're not comfortable with yourself, try not to be so shy around guys by striking up a casual conversation or even flirt a little, it'll boost up your self esteem & it'll feel good not to be so shy! Remember they're just people

Face your fears. I used to be really shy too, but I'm not anymore, you just need to come out of your shell and have fun. Ask a guy out, if he says no, oh well. ask another guy.

YOU HAVE TO OVERCOME BEING SHY FIRST OFF. THEN WHNE U FEEL U HAVE ENOUGH GUTS WALK UP TO A GUY AND START TALKING WITH HIM, IF U HAVE MALE FRIENDS TALK WITH THEM AND MAKE YOURSELF COMFY AROUND GUYS, THEN WHNE U FIND THE RIGHT ONE JUST ASK HIM OUT.. THE WORST HE COULD SAY IS NO...BESIDES ITS HS EVERYONE ONE WOULD HAVE FORGOTTEN AFTER A WEEK IF U GOT TURNED DOWN... JUST BE COMFY AROUND THEM... ONCE YOUR READY MAKE YOUR MOVE...WOMEN ARE ALLOWED TO ASK OUT GUYS TOO
