Run disk cleaner in System Tools folder (Accesories). CCleaner is a good program to clean your computer regularly. Free download:

You have 3 options. First you could uninstall any programs you are not using or don't want. Second you move all of you data files off to a external resource, like a flash drive. Finally you could install a second hard drive to the PC. Those are truly your only options.

Compression doesn't really give you much space and will need to uncompress somethings for them to be used. A Adding the drive is probably your best bet as it adds the most space.

Delete any programs that you do not need but are just on the computer. Delete the internet cache and temporary files. Go to your homepage, Tools, Options, Privacy, and Clear Internet Cache. Then Go to the My Computer Icon on desktop and click on C drive and go to properties and disk clean. When that is complete defragment the disk drive. That should help a little bit.

delete old unwanted files that you have on it, make sure that they are your files and that you are ot deleting important files that hte computer needs. you can also do a disk clean up, Start < All Programs < Assesories < System Tools < Disk Clean Up

or the best way would be to buy a new harddrive, but make sure that it is the right one for your computer

Ur best bet would be to delete unwanted files and if you need those files get the least worthy ones and store them in disk or flash dribes also you could get an external harddrive.
