God does not require animal sacrifices today, as you know. Jesus ended that. True, in this culture, we are not used to seeing things like that, unless you work in a meat market.
I believe that the sacrifices were for the benefit of mankind. To show us there is a price to pay for sin, which lead to God paying the ultimate price, the human life of his Son Jesus, the most valuable thing/person in existence besides Himself.
The Bible says that anyone that does not show appreciation for this gift, calling it ordinary, is to end up rejected. The choice is ours.
Hebrews 10:29 Of how much more severe a punishment, do you think, will the man be counted worthy who has trampled upon the Son of God and who has esteemed as of *ordinary value* the blood of the covenant..

in relation to animal sacrifice, you should achieve the quantity of time. Christianity grow to be no longer fairly in prepare at that component and a brilliant style of persons have been nevertheless worshiping idols and mythological gods. The blood sacrifice grow to be the desirable present to a god, which is composed of human beings. such as you, i do no longer think that our God enjoyed the prepare, however the fewer influential human beings of in spite of prolonged kin, have been further approximately have faith that God had spoken to a undeniable guy or woman and given him the divine be conscious on the thank you to instruct honor to or worry of god. some cults nevertheless sacrifice blood; chickens, goats, human beings, and so on. the finished faith issue is so complicated, yet i think it actual relies upon on your guy or woman relationship with God.

Well at least his God actually found out that bacon tastes really good and decided to change that when he sacrificed his son.
Maybe that's why he stopped the sacrifies of lambs and goats because he wanted his people to try bacon.

He did not enjoy it, I'm sure it made him sad everytime. Just like I'm sure he cried when Jesus was crucified. But, he loved us more!!! The life of an innocent was the only way to make up for our sins.

DID please Him, not does. They did that in theo ld testimant, not anymore. He sent His son and sacrificed him to prove his love, and give his people another chance to live. He doesn't like killing, I think you are missing the point of his actions.
