With my experience I suggest you should make friends with Russians and talk to them, ask them to correct your pronounce, learn to speak with Russian accent.
I studied Russian in university for three years, then I went to Russia to work. But when I first time talked to a Russian guy, I found we totally could not understand each other, I realized my pronounce was so bad. After that, because I had to use the language every day, I speak better and better.

Agree with previous. Unless the site is speech interactive, I don't know if websites are the way to go, but maybe there are some.

I took Russian in university, but never got to the top of the learning curve in fluency.

We used a kit called, hope this is right, it's been some time, 'Russki yazik dlya vsyekh' (The Russian language for all), and it had a book, exercises and tapes. Check amazon or bookfinder.com for availability.

You definitely want some help with pronounciation, cuz, just ask a native speaker, it's not as phonetic as people say it is.

Good luck, and do-svidaniya!

Don't know, but I would strongly suggest taking a class. Russian is one of the most difficult languages to learn. I studied Russian for four years in college, and I can't imagine how I would have learned it without instructors correcting me & other students to practice with!

i don't know if there are websites, you probably need to download and/or buy something to learn from it. But there is a google translator which translates from english to whatever language and the opposite. :D I don't think it'll help u much tho, but I hope you speak fluently in Russian one day!

I'm afraid if there are I haven't found them.

I'm having to make do out of books, and then there's the issue of not knowing whether your pronunciation is correct - as most books say different things.

Please let me know if you find anything.
