Yes Jesus is the son of God but is also God, you can find that in the first letter of John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in Heaven, The Father, The Word(Jesus said many times he is the Word of God), and the Ho'ly Ghost: and these three are one."

This depends on who you are asking. To many Christian sects Jesus was the son of God. To others Jesus is God's human incarnation, who is referred to as "The Son," thus, Jesus and God are one in the same. This concept is characterized by the use of the Trinity. Many Muslims consider Jesus a prophet, but not Divine. Some Jews consider him a great teacher, but not Divine. To put it bluntly, there is no definitive answer.

Yes he is, and he's the son of the living God.

Heres an example an egg has three parts-the cover, the white part, and the yellow part, but it all contributes to be 1 EGG!
The same with God- its the holy spirit, jesus christ, and God. They all constitute 1 godhead with different personalities.

It is a debatable question between various faiths! and answers given here wont probably change your belief or anyone elses either! One way or the other people will believe what they were believing!
I for one dont think Jesus was Son of God, if he were then why would he pray to God? and bow to God? He would simply also ask his followers to pray to him!
But theres no confusion that he was God's chosen one and a mercy for mankind!

Yes--and he was like the living form of God on Earth. The trinity involves--God-Jesus--and the Holy Spirit. However I have always wondered who to say my prayers to --Jesus or God. I usually say--God, but most people I have heard pray--say Jesus. So, I hope I am not being condemned for that or being stupid. The holy spirit is a guide inside us to give us convictions and support from God, once we are saved.

More specifically, Jesus is the ONLY BEGOTTEN son of God.

That's an important distinction as there are other "sons of God" that appear in the scripture. There are the ones that boinked with daughters of men, and produced the "nephalim", and Satan is referred to as a "son of God" in the book of Job.

the term son of God is used throughout the bible, are those people also literally the son of God? Christian scholarship routinely states that Jesus never claimed divinity for himself, and these scholars still claim to be christian. These scholars are priests, bishops, oxford dons. Of course they will be condemned for their views but i'm sure they studied the bible and its sources a thousand times more than anyone writing here

if he was the son of one who doesn't exist, then yes. Jesus was a great person, and it actually takes away from him 2 say he was the son of an imaginary god thingy

yes and Jesus called God father in all but one of His prayers

the Father also spoke audible 3 times in the gospels and spoke of Jesus as his Son in 2 of them

(I understand calling God father is the unforgivable sin of Islam... this is quite odd given that Jesus says is all the time and the prophet Isaiah calle dGod father in his book...?????)
