Was your roomie a guy or a girl? Not that it makes a difference. If you feel comfortable with yourself who the hell cares! It's your place isn't it. You didn't go to the delivery guys house like that.
I would love to be a delivery guy and come to your place! haha You do need to play it safe though . There are some sickos out there. I swear I'm not one. Just a typical guy.
(I would also love to be a "gloryPOLE") haha You go girl!

Just how short WAS that T-shirt? If your roomie was so concerned about how you were dressed, how come she/he didn't answer the door herself? It really is no big deal, but I have to say that, yes, you should have taken the time to throw on some pants. You never know what kind of freak is on the other side of the door and some might take that kind of attire as an invitation.....not necessarily at the moment, but to come back later with a different kind of delivery.

The delivery person was not someone you know, and I'm making a huge assumption that you wouldn't answer your door like that if you were having friends over for a dinner party. So, why would you answer the door for a complete stranger like that ?
It's called modesty... a rare animal in our society these days.
Besides... although most delivery places try to hire as reputable a person as possible... you have NO way of knowing if the dude at your door is a serial killer who used a fake i.d. to get a job so he could make a few extra bucks.... and find his next victim.
Wisen up.

Your roomie got pissed??? When I was 17 I went to a door to ask directions and the woman who answered the door was just wearing an unbottoned shirt. This sort of sticks in your mind. So "just wearing a T-shirt" is fine. LOL

no it was not ok. you roommate was right to be upset with you. you don't seem to have much common sense, you are putting yourself at risk for any number dangerous things to happen to you by answering the door in just a t-shirt. that delivery person has your address and knows that you answer the door with not much on and you can bet he/she will tell more than a few people about how foolish you are...i hope they dont show up at your door with a fake delivery.

No, you shouldn't answer the door like that. Imagine you were a delivery person and a man answered the door with only a t-shirt on, with his lil winkie out... how would you feel about that?

Well, I wish I was the delivery guy in your area. But I think your roommate is correct. There are too many "what ifs".Like what if he got the wrong idea, and helped himself. You don't know what other people are thinking....It's a dangerous world we live in.Besides all that it is kind of slutty, and I would be a little pissed if my wife did that.

i dont think its a big deal...as long as it didnt bother you, im sure delivery people have seen weirder things. i dont always answer the door for delivery people -dressed for company- like some people..sometimes i might answer when im not wearing a bra (oh my!) or whatever...dont even worry about it...

Your roomate has your best interests at heart. You do not know who is at the door and even if it is a delivery person you do not know anything about them. BEWARE of strangers!

As long as you weren't exposing yourself, that's really your business, not your roomies. Also, delivery guys are used to much riskier stuff.
