Remember all that talk about those sorts of luxury add-ons to the plane? So, is any airline seriously going through with those plans upon entry into service?

It is what airbus would like airlines to have so that the aircraft can make the weight limits for takeoof. Open space does not take up as much weight as a chair with passenger + luggage

I think the fact that the A380 is capable of holding around 800 passengers answers your question. I'm sure every airline will get as many bums on seats as is physically possible and forget about all these other luxuries. I'm willing to bet that the toilets will even be just as small as there are on current aircraft like the 747.

It wouldn't be logical for airlines to have casinos, shopping stalls and spas on board. Bedrooms are a possibilty, but wouldn't be implemented until later stages as airlines just want to recieve their original orders first.

its a load of BS. they just said that so investors would be interested in buying their plane. in reality, the a380 is going to be packed with passengers. it wouldn't be cost effective, the more seats the plane has - the more money the airline makes.
