The wages of sin is death. The greek version indicates a life without God or hell if you will. Do you believe you are sinless? If so then yes, you will make it. If you have done just one thing wrong you won't. Unless of couse, you believe in God and His way to heaven. What is His way? Ahhh.....but thats another question.

No one is "good enough" to go to heaven. That's why Jesus died for our sins. It is only through his sacrifice, the sacrifice God provided that will get you into heaven.

No, i am not sinless. I curse and i may tell a small fib here and there, but i am not a constant liar like most people. I used to go to church when i was younger, i don't anymore. i don't think that makes a difference because sinners go to church too. I believe strongly that there is a god and he is watching everything and in the Bible God said "whosoever believeth in me shall have everlasting life" There are some horrible people out here that i just know are going to burn in hell. Killers, rapists, thieves, people who lie to hurt others, people who worship the devil. I've never done anything to hurt anybody and if i'm not going to heaven nobody is. Read the Bible and you'll see God's way.

No, I am not sinless, but I work on it everyday. I just hope by the time the decision of heaven or hell for me is to be decided that I will have done enough good deeds and been sorry enough about my sins that I can make it into purgatory where I will continue to strive for heaven. My way to heaven is through my belief in God and Jesus Christ and my attempt to follow the goodness they exemplify describes the way to them.

Yea, you know I'm not good enough. Only God is good. and therefore, if the standard of good is God. Then clearly, there is no one that is good except God. And reaching good is unattainable. And if God is in Heaven and reaching good is unattainable. Then reaching heaven is unattainable. Whoa!!!! So, the only way to reach God is to believe in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins. And Jesus' goodness will cover us and we get to be with God in heaven. Nice. God is good.

Oh yea. and the idiot that said this:
How you can worship a god who will throw 3 out of 4 babies (and no less than three out of every four humans) into hell for being unbelievers is beyond me.

God doesn't send babies to hell. Babies and children who have not reached the age of decision go to heaven (The age where they can decide for themselves whether they will follow God or go their own way). Also, the salvation of the parents who are believers covers their children. So, once again, God is good.

Is heaven good enough for me to go there?

Is the way of life required by the church to go to heaven worth following?

Is there such thing as a sin, or is the concept of SIN just as meaningless as the concept of GOAL in a tennis game?

Is there a heaven or a hell, anyway?

Does God exist outside people's imagination?

His way is the Bible.

While we are on the topic of sin...

Sin, for a Christian, is only of the body. A true Christian's spirit cannot sin. Look at 1 John 3:6 and 1 John 3:9. They say that no one born of God sins. You may be thinking that it is impossible not to sin. Look at Romans 7:14-25 (look mainly at verse 17). Romans 7 says that it is only our body that sins not our spirit.

No, I am not "good enough to go to heaven." When my hearing comes, the D.A. (District Attorney or Devil's Army ) will have more than enough evidence to convict me.
Thank God my P.D. (Public Defender, or Prince Divine) is the Judge's Son!
He will stride into court, walk on up past the spectators, lean over the bench, and say, "Dad, I already made my plea bargain for this one. She belongs to me."
And the Judge will answer, in a clear and ringing voice, "Case dismissed!!"

It pays to know the Judge's Son!!

No one is sinless. But I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and died for my sins, so I am assured of my salvation. There is no one good enough to get to Heaven on their own. They must go through Jesus.

Rev 21:8 says unbelievers go to hell.

Given population distribution and the ease with which children adopt their parent's religion, over 75% of Humanity, including those children, get sent to Hell.

That's approaching the death-rate of some genocidal maniacs.

How you can worship a god who will throw 3 out of 4 babies (and no less than three out of every four humans) into hell for being unbelievers is beyond me.

For God hated Humanity so much he rigged the game so he could toss over 75% of Humanity into the pits of Hell to suffer everlasting hellfire...praise Jesus?

Footnote: It just so happens that this gained me my first hate-mail from a christian (nod to blizgamer). Imagine that: hatred from a god-worshipper.

Praise Jesus and hate anyone who disagrees? Thanks for demonstrating my point, blizgamer ;-)

Oh yes, feel free to provide Chapter and verse that says babies and kids don't go to Hell for being "unbelievers" (Rev 21:8).

Perhaps II Kings 2: 23-24 will help ;-)
