Is it feasible that there could be rain and sunshine on different sides of the same street. This is sometimes depicted in cartoons. Thanx!

I've seen it happen, and it doesn't have anything to do with unpredictable climate. Any time it rains, the storm has to have a boundary somewhere. If the line happens to run down your street, you'll see it too.

You don't just have to be at the edge of a cloud. Rain doesn't fall straight down, do you think wind has no effect on it? Sometimes it will be clear blue sky right above me and I will still get rain.

I saw it happen on a bridge once.

We were crossing the bridge and somehow, the rain started slowing down to nothing and then there was no rain and just good old sunshine!

Pretty freaky but pretty neat too. (We got a rainbow out of it!)

Absolutely - I live in Florida and that actually happens.
As well as the sun being out and still raining!

Sure, if you happen to be near the edge of the cloud. Here in Georgia (the one in the US) it sometimes does that, although it's not always so obvious.

Have seen that happen.
And there was nothing exceptional about the climate at the time, either.
