I'm currently 18 years old and I want to go back to high school but considering my age, I think I might just be a bit too old. I never dropped out of school; I just attended a different school which happen to screw me over completely. I would have quite a few subjects to take... Something happened with my transcripts and some of the courses I've takin' aren't on the transcripts. I've been tryin' to resolve the problem but they want me to repeat the courses. Should I just go back to public school considering that I might spend another 2-3 years in that god foresaken hell. I want to go to college and become a Elementary teacher in the future. Only thing I'm really worried about is my age. I know that I'm 18, but is it too old? I can definitely pass as a senior for 1 year but after that.. people gonna be like... "wtf'? he's still here?" In my heart I wanna go back but my mind keeps tellin' me no. Any advice would be most appreciated.

Get your diploma no matter what it takes. They do have on-line schools or adult continuation schools if you don't want to go back to high school. But for your own future, graduate. High school and college if you can.

If you feel you have taken enough of the courses, why not just take the GED and get your diploma that way. There are lots of books out to help you study. Why waste any more time in high school!

check with your local school district...they often offer a evening high school for older people to finish their high school education. Or you might just get your GED most colleges except them.

Don't listen to your mind in this instance. Your 18, not 40, for God's sake. Go back, just go back.....

Well if you wanted to go to highschool but not with other kids seeing you there-try a cyber school.
