so my dad has 4 kids. 2 with my mom and 2 with his ex wife.
she hated me and my sis because we are my mom's kids.
i was born 1st. then it's my half sis then my full blood sis then my half bro. yeah, my dad cheated on my mom and her.
it's been like 15 yrs she's hated us now not any more.
my full blood sis was at my dad's w/ my half bro and sis. their mom came and pick them up to her place. my full sis who she hates. now she doesn't. she have a nice house, car. she wants me and my full blood sis to sleep over on the weekend. she gave me my own room and i never even talked to her b4!
i don't get it. she hated my family now she's all liking us and stuff.
i think she's 40 something.
WHY DO YOU THINK SHE CHANGED? i need all the answers i can get. THANK YOU.

Wow!! Sounds like Dad made some bad choices! Honey, it's hard to be a parent and a step parent no matter how it all came about. A lot can happen in 15 years. Sounds like maturing has something to do with it. And it also sounds like she was mad at the situation, not so much you and your sister. Children unfortunately get caught in the middle sometimes. Try to be forgiving of her and try to allow her to love you. Maybe she realizes that she didn't make it any easier for you growing up and she is trying to mend it. Give her a chance and hopefully your relationship can grow into a good one. Best of luck!

Well, for one thing, you say former step mom. That means she no longer has any responsibility for you whatsoever. And if she's moved on with her life, perhaps you're no longer a reminder to her that she was a fool with a man who cheated on her even though he cheated with her on someone else, too. When she was with your dad, you and your full-blood sis were a reminder to her that he cheated and any woman knows that a man who cheats once could do it over and over and over again. Also she broke up another relationship to have him to herself. There's a song that says it best "If she wants a man to take the ring off his hand and then turn around and say he'll be true, she deserves you." That just about says it all.

she used 2 hated u but u shouldn't care about her because i think she was forced to accept u and ur sis and the truth and she now she is nice but dont let her fool u so be careful GOOD LUCK

as a parent you always want "yours" to come first and well hers didn't ...i have many step children and never ever have i treated them any differ ant from my own...and it sounds like now that shes in the same shoes as you and your mother being a ex and all there is no more competition she isn't looking for that "first place prize" anymore ....its human nature unfortunately....
