And all the time God is good? why is there an "o" missing from God's name and the "g" in good isn't capitalized?

Good question alot of people get confused by this.
God has the ultimate "carte blanche". No matter what He does, its always right. BUT....He can do immoral acts like kicking kittens. So no, God is not good all the time because He can do bad things. But even if He does bad things, they are always the right thing to do.

You should have taken a English lesson. You capitalize a person name but not a adverb that describes a name. Psalms 8: 9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

You could have phrased this question better. I've always wondered if maybe he doesn't step out of line at least once in a while - after all being good all the time has to be boring.

because they are different words. good is an adjective describing God, so it is not necessary that it be spelled the same. What a boring language English would be if everything were spelled the same! and confusing!
