With love in Christ.

it Iis normal for the bread and wine ( or grape juice ) to be blessed by the priest but I see no reason why we should not remember Christs death at every meal or have a personal Communion

Yes you can and you don't need consecrated host as the other person answered.
Any bread/cracker and grape juice will do just fine. They are only symbols of the body and blood of Christ.

yes.. the bible says we are a nation of priests, a holy priesthood.....we do not need a middle person to pray over the bread and wine. Our high priest is in heaven...He is all we need

Absolutely. Any time you offer thanks to God for the provision and ask God blessing on the meal in Rememberance of Christ it is communion.
