As I said, every time I try to play a certain DVD It says "This DVD player has been fixed to Region 2. I would like to know what to do . Thanking in advance for your help. My graphic card is Ge Force FX5200.

If your drive is physically locked (RPC2), you need to "downgrade" your drive's firmware (the piece of software, kinda like BIOS, in your drive's memory) to non-region locked one (RPC1). Most of the drives have hacked firmwares available that allow you to do this, this is _the_ site to check:

I agree with the other answer a firmware download - but try the drives manufacturer too - email them for info. I had a similar problem with a router and the manufacturer had a firmware download for their "new" product. was a little too "new". LOL

Sounds like you have changed the region code 5 times, after the fifth time it locks it onto that region.

Plenty of software out there that will help you run region free dvd
