Lets take it one step further. In the mothers womb male hormones begin at 14 weeks. Previous to this male and female are both the same. You could say all fetus are female and develop into males. If you say this, females are developed in the womb first. Which leads me to my next question - Since Adam was made first, did he have nipples?

Lets take it another step - Since Adam was made first and God did not decide to make Eve untill later. Did Adam have reproductive organs when God first made him?

GEEWHIIZZZ - Question was only for fun or trivia. Did not mean to offend anyone. Perhaps some of you so-called Christians should lighten up or go back and start over. I am looking for direction in my life, somehow I can't beleive Gods wants me to go the same direction as you.

The Bible says, (God speaking) "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you." God created us each individually with purpose through his design. I like to think that Adam and Eve did not have belly buttons, but then God knowing all that followed would have belly buttons, He may have given them to Adam and Eve. And besides, belly buttons are cute, and I think our bellies would look weird without them.
Sorry, but the question about the nipples is just weird. If you look at humans through the eyes of evolution, then I suppose your questions would make sense, but we were created by a loving Creator and Father. He knows what each of us will be, we don't change in to something else according to fate or evolution or anything else.
PS: belly buttons are not genetic, they are physical. That's where your umbilical cord was attached. No umbilical cord (created like Adam, not born) then no belly button.

The Bible states that G-d created man to be in His likeness; thereofre, G-d must have a belly button and nipples. Furthermore, if you are one who is either an athiest or a religion-evolution combiner, you will know that the descendants of Adam and Eve couldn't have nipples and belly buttons if their parents didn't have the genes for them; so why would G-d even bother going through the trouble of giving them genes for those purposes, and then make sure they didin't activate only in the first generation?
I'm not a religious person, but I suppose that's the explanation.

Since I am a bible scholar, I can answer this for you. I'll try to keep it simple for you and the other non-bible-scholars: the story of Adam and Eve is just a cutsie way of explaining the origin of human beings to pre-kindergarten children. It never actually happened. Therefore, unless of some developmental defect, all people named Adam and Eve have a belly button and nipples.

Well since God created Adam and Eve and they weren't born as you and I were, there would be no bellybuttons. Bellybuttons are the end result of the umbilical cord being cut when a baby is delivered.
Not sure about the nipples but I would think the same applies since Adam was not born but "created".
Spend your time reading the Bible instead of thinking of ridiculous questions.

well, god made both adam and eve in his own image, so physical characteristics that both male and female people have must, by a fundamentalist viewpoint, be characteristics of god. Male, and females both have nipples and belly buttons, whether or not they are of any use.
So, Adam and Eve had both belly buttons, and nipples.
Why nipples? umm, because God is... nurturing?
Why belly buttons? Well, after God made Adam and Eve, he charged them to go name all the animals and such, and just to make sure they didn't mess around with that, he gave them each a jab in the belly, and said "Go name them animals... and no bad words!"

Well I think that they ought to have belly buttons and nipples, since they wouldnt want to be the only people on the planet to not have them. they have enough of a notoriety about them as the first man and woman, and the first sinners, without having to face the pariah of being physiological anomalies.

Every human being unless genetically altered has a belly button. That is one thing that makes everyone human.
