Run both Ad-aware and Spybot Seek and Destroy. You can get them both free at download.com. As they use different list to determine what is spyware, one may get something the other misses. Then install Microsoft Defender from microsoft.com to help prevent future infections.

You can download AdAware for free at adaware.com or have a look at download.com with this link: http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tg=dl-20&qt=spy%20ware&tag=srch

There's loads of free scanners and it doesn't hurt to occasionally run more than one 'cos sometimes they miss stuff that another may pick up.
