The best way to prevent urination indoors is with good supervision, frequent opportunities to eliminate in the correct location and appropriate confinement when no one can watch the puppy. A young puppy will need to go outside to eliminate after they wake up, after eating and after play time. An adult should go outside with the puppy to witness outdoor elimination and to praise the puppy for going to the bathroom in the right place. Remember, young puppies need to go outside often and cannot be expected to wait for a long time between opportunities to get outside.

Take your dog outside EVERY TIME it:
1. Eats or drinks.
2. Wakes up.
3. Sniffs the ground and walks around in circles.
AND every half an hour, even if it doesn't go. You have to watch them CONSTANTLY, watching for any behaviour that shows they have to go. If they do have an accident, and you catch them in the act, yell NO loudly and firmly and take the dog outside immediately! If you don't catch him in the act, you can't punish your dog, as they will not learn that way. Good luck, housebreaking small dogs is very difficult!

when you see it about to go to the loo pick the dog up and take it out side and when it goes to the loo give it a treat. also when you cant watch it put it in a creat that isnt too big. (enough so it can turn around) as dogs wont soil there beds if they can help it.
(this can work with all dogs no matter what breed.)

Crate training is the ONLY method that works 100%! 100% of the time. Anything else is just spinning your wheels.

Spray bottle of water or a can of pennies or beans. The water startles them and so does the sound of the contents rattling in a can.
