Hi! In the UK - you go to hospital right after you have informed the police - if there is nothing physically wrong with you - tell them you are frightened you have head aches, fear of going out etc.. attend your Doctor every other day.. get a Psychologist - and make sure you get someone ( an adviser ) to help you fill in a Criminal Injuries claim form.. Then if you have any idea who perpetrated the act on you - you get your mates/relatives together and Baseball bat the fiend... Keep safe..

It would depend on the crime. What kind of crime are you referring to? The general answer would be counseling to help work through the trauma.
