i don't like milk either. it also happens that milk is very bad for you, and the methods that large corporate diary fams use to produce the milk you drink are deplorable.
for example: the cows are injected with a cocktail of hormones and antibiotics to make them produce more milk, and build resistance to the bacterial disease that propagate themselves in the unhealthily crowded environment.
the growth hormones cause the udders of the cow to become so bloated with milk, that they often explode. it is extremely cruel to the cow, because having udders that are so bloated is incredibly painful for the animal. also- this causes the cows "teets" to become infected- hence pus filled sores. as a result every gallon of milk you buy has a certain, albeit small, percentage of cow-pus in it
also, the widespread use of massive amounts of antibiotics causes bacteria to evolve in order to build resistance to these antibiotics, causing super-bacteria to form- like the bird flu (conditions in poultry factories are similar to those on dairy farms)

the fact that humans are the only mammals that purposely drink the milk of another species grosses me out. Humans lose the ability to properly digest milk after the age of 5 anyway.
Dairy cows are milked so often that their teats get cracked and bleed, then the wounds become infected. They get washed before their next milking, but blood and pus still gets into the final product.

The answer given as the best answer is false. This is not a good answer. Milk is not bad for you, and the idea that it is, is something that was developed by evil men who wanted to sell their invention called margarine. Margarine is awful. Flies won't even touch it, and this crusade started against dairy products to sell that filth is a crime. The rise in obesity in America directly correlates with the creation and usage of margarine as a "healthy" alternative.

I agree with you totally. I don't drink milk, my parents never drank milk. My mother has great bones as does my dad. Never had a broken bone, but a friend of mine who Drinks milk all the time has osteoporosis. If a person eats enough varied foods milk isn't important in a diet after age 2 or so.

I'm lactose intollerant and I still drink milk. Lactaid is a good choice for anybody that is also by the way. Anywho, people drink milk for the same reason people eat meat , fish, chicken and even eggs it's good. And despite what people say they are good source's of some things our bodies need. I love my cookies what would they be without the milk.

YES. The whole idea is sickening. Especially if you listen to the stuff about the milking machines and the pus and the mastitis, etc.
