You should never drink on antidepressants. antidepressants work on the chemicals in your brain, drinking also is a depressant so they are counter-acting each other. I cant take antidepressants every time I tried they always made me feel worse. If yours is working for you and you need to take it daily, then you should take the warning and not drink. Good luck to you!

You can drink on it, but if you do, the Paxil WON'T WORK. If you need wine to relax, you may have a chemical dependency issue.

I've had a drink while on paxil and I was ok. Mixing the two is just going to make you feel more tired and more drunk.

I was on Paxil years ago and they told me it would diminish its effect if I drank with it. I did anyway. Nothing ever really happened one way or another, so I would say don't drink with it, and see if it has any real effect. If you can't stop drinking, completely, go to rehab.
