Most so-called Christians dont walk the talk. I know we all fall short and screw up, but some never change they habits or even try. They think getting baptized and going to church seals the deal. To me, the so called Born again birth never happened.

Not everyone person that say they believe in Christianity are born again or have knowledge of it. Some believers over look the book of Acts chapter 1. A person's spirit is changed but not there carnal ways unless their minds is renewed with washing of the word of God. We as believers must die to the carnal ways daily. We are not perfect but are make unto perfection with Christ until He comes.

Not everyone has a true concept of what it means to be born again. Peter revealed the meaning on the day of Pentecost - Repent, be baptized in Jesus' name, and receive the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). "Accept Jesus as your Savior" is not a biblical phrase and is not being born again.
Of course, even being filled with the Holy Ghost does not make you perfect. The battle with the flesh will not be over until you die.

If there is no change after accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, then you are not truly reborn. My life turned completely around. I am not saying I am holier than anyone, just saying my old life just slipped away. I was an alcoholic for 45 years, smoked for fifty some odd, did all the things I wanted to do, but I assure you this all changed after I asked Christ into my life. I haven't had a drink for sixteen years and haven't smoked for nine. I don't want to sound boastful, just thankful that I got God in my life.

UGh I could go on for days, I was "born again" at one point, all I found church to be was a cult, but one, that does some good. People are hypocites, they like to feel mighty, and perfect by announcing themselfs as holy. When in actuality, they are still human and no different then anyone else, religion pisses me off tw

People tend to confuse the internal and the external. Becoming born again or any other external act is meaningless unless you make the internal change first.

Born again people are in a process, being a Christian does not mean we are perfect. That is why we have to ask God to forgive us and to make us better people, servant of Him. We are also living in a dark world and we tend to fall into our old nature.
When we sin we know who we have sinned against and we repent, when a non-believer sin they simply continue to sin.

You're right. Most people who do those things are simply saying they're born again. Doesn't mean they are. False converts are one of the many devices Satan uses to blind the world to God's plan of salvation (not to mention the eyes of the false converts themselves, who no doubt believe they are safely saved).

because we are nevertheless human and nevertheless favor Jesus. that's all a researching procedure. we are nevertheless going to fail, and we favor to fail with a purpose to study from our blunders. If we not in any respect made blunders, we would not have the capacity to perceive with others. that's unlike we settle for Jesus into our hearts and God reformats the demanding force of our minds. Boy that could make issues a good purchase a lot less complicated, eh? yet then we would not study something.

The point of Christianity is to look to Christ, not to other humans. What other humans are doing is not the point of it at all. God has infinite patience with his children, he loves us. Saying you are born again does not immediately make you into a demi god, becoming like Christ is a lifetime pursuit, where someone else is on their quest is really not ours to comment on. "Do not fret because of evil men, " Ps 37:1
