I guess you could say that love is overrated, but we actually do need it. It all comes down to basic human needs. We all need to have shelter and we all need to be loved.
I suppose you could get the love from your family, but sometimes we need a different type of love, the sort that you find in the arms of one who is not related to you. We all need to know that we're are appreciated by someone.
Love isn't all that necessary to ensure that we continue to exsist. Gosh, all we have to do is bang each other and we're fine. Love is just a perk.
We need love to fill that gaping hole in our hearts that pains us and serves as a constant reminder of how empty and pathetic our lives really are. A dull throbbing pain that has sadly been played on. There's love everywhere we look because it's the one emotion we all hunger for. We watch these movies and listen to these songs because most of the time we're just imagining all that lovey-dovey crap happening to us.
This is why I think that BOYBANDS ARE EVIL!!!

Love is an experience everyone should have its not always fun but its always special, its sweet struggles that fill the past and build the future..
I don't disagree with you, sometimes its over played especially when you're down in a rut... but i believe people can be happy either way single or being a relationship.. some people prefer to go out out and do whatever they want, others prefer to go out and do something with their partner.
I don't think that your incorrect at all. you have your opinion and i respect that.
I on the other hand are very happy with my partner, we do a lot of things together and seperately. We make our lives complete together. we've been together for a year and things have never been better...
But i do respect your opinion

No it doesn't sound crazy, it makes alot of sense because I once felt like you. However, having a hubby and children myself now, I have found as I get older that I am very happy because it is so nice to have someone to share my life with and he feels the same. It is also really nice to share the joy of watching your kids grow-up. There is a type of love that is a chemical illusion in the brain and that love is infatuation but there is a love you can choose. It's a love of choosing to invest your time in someone and to share everything with them. When this love is reciprocated it is a beautiful thing. I love my family and I feel blessed that I have them in this lifetime.

I agree with you 100%. Being in any kind of relationship is quite overrated if you ask me. Just because you are not in a relationship it doesn't mean that you are nothing. I am not in a serious relationship at the moment and I enjoy being alone. Well, sometimes I feel lonely but sometimes it is good to be alone so you will experience what it is like to do things independently.

No, I totally agree with you. I second that.
ANd yes, I think it's pathetic and stupid that almost every single song and movie is about love. The world is about more than that you know! I wanna hear stuff about things other than love.
You aint crazy, or if you are, then I guess I'm crazy too.

this is mind-blowing, yet unsurprising, to me that their impulse is to limit it for each guy or woman through fact it violates their non secular ideals, and that i've got severe matters with people who tell human beings the thank you to stay. there's a sturdy stress of hypocrisy right here...i discover, specifically, that Muslim leaders are speedy to chat against human beings's cultures and practices, and extremely speedy to sentence people who talk against their very own. i'm no longer shocked by their opposition to the day, however - their faith makes a speciality of obedience and does not emphasize love very plenty, and particularly no longer romantic love. that's, in spite of each and every little thing, a faith that prefers that marriages be arranged by mothers and dads, that hides women from sight for worry that the sight of their hair ought to incite "lust" in somebody, and that condemns relationship or the different style of combining between females and adult males.

Love exists but there is only a small group of people who know what it means to love. Sad but true...
