Talked 3 days ago to plan our weekend, she was in a bad mood and I mistakenly pointed it out (told her she was being crabby) . We've been dating over a year. She emailed me the next day that she "felt too crabby to be tolerated" and won;t return my calls . Left a message on her machine yesterday morning.. Do I follow up or just wait and wait?

Jon,
The more she feels like you are pushing her, the more she will probably retreat. You can carefully word a quick email to her and say you haven't forgotten about her and when she's feeling ready to talk that you are ready to listen. Good luck.

I'd call her again and if she doesn't answer this time, leave a message saying that you will try to give her the time she needs to feel better, that you miss her, and you apologize for calling her crabby. And say that you hope to hear from her soon. Maybe even send flowers to say you're sorry if she likes that kind of thing. That should get her to talk to you.

Dude, you took a bad situation and mood and made it worst. If I were you, i would start groveling like now. At least stop by her place with a "I'm sorry I was an ***" gift like flowers or something cute and sentimental. And pray that she has cooled down enough to actually let you in and talk and maybe get to the making up.

Good Luck!

i think the question would be ...has she already moved on...i don't think women who are "in love" and that happens after a year of dating go that long without talking for no apparent reason...if she is pmsing then maybe but i personally and this is coming from a woman...think that if she hasn't called back yet its bigger then her being crabby...either a...you could call back to find out...or be let it go ......but there is more there then you know!!!

If you really like this person, then try again and again because you know it'll be worth it. I'd suggest you leave a message that says that you're being serious about all this and apologize and maybe try to make up. If she keeps on ignoring you, then just let go and move on. Give her sometime though.

Give her a day or two to cool off [as in, NO phone calls or whatever], and then go round to her house. Bring flowers, chocolate, teddy bears, whatever. But most of all, bring an apology.

You'll sort it out.

Good luck

hmm, there was a lesson to you about your girlfriend, wasn't there? Maybe instead of pointing it out, you should have asked what made her feel that way. You know, show her that you cared about her.....!!?!?!

Maybe you should go around her house, say sorry and then ask her what is up with her. You know, show her that you care about her.......
