You hear more stories of people being raised from the dead, cripples walking, the blind seeing, in the poorest countries of Africa and Asia then you do in western countries with highly educated populations and skeptical press institutions. Western "faith Healers" often go to the poorest countries to rake in obscene amounts of money from those least able to afford it. Why? Instead of educating these victims, they are sent bibles. Instead of building world class Universities, they build Shady Bible Colleges. Instead of producing Doctors, Scientist and Engineers, they produce evangelist and Pastors to prolong the poverty and ignorance. Is this a crime against humanity?

With out a doubt it is a crime although there are often positive effects from these practices there are deep seated sociological attitudes like Indias letting children starve on its streets because they wont kill a stupid cow. In Brasil medicine is available to all of its citizens but the most ignorant will not go to the hospital because they know of some one who had a similiar injury who waited too long and a limb had to be amputated so they think if they go to the hospital the limb will be amputated, not realising that if they go soon enough it can be healed. Governments in most countries don't inform its people of the facts. Even in the U.S.A. the government has outlawed or made nearly impossible to attain certain drugs because they're afraid someone might be using them for enjoyment and then someone manufactures something like poppers which kill people but they are sold as something like an odorizer with warnings not to inhale but everyone knows what they are so the original which was manufactured by a pharmacudical company and not only was harmless but actually beneficial was repalced by a legal poison. The advent of those with a religious agender have always been blinded by their dogma that they almost always do more harm than good.

Maybe their minds aren't so cluttered with the so-called facts that they are able to be open to more than just what they see or think that they "know". Maybe they're not so busy being intellectually pompous that they have room to be open to other possibilities. The poorest of the poor are often the most joyful, spiritual people you will ever find. Take a trip to India for an eye-opener.

The more ignorant or illiterate a person is, the more fervently religious they are. The same can be said for entire societies.
Look at the people who line up to see the face of Jesus or Mary in a pile of dog poop. These people call every good thing that chances to happen a miracle.

Those that don't understand attribute strange acts as miracles. One day the world will be smart enough that we will no longer need religion. We will know then that god is a man made construct.

definite. My lady chum became going to get an abortion and her mothers and fathers have been fairly insisting on it. no longer something i ought to assert might exchange her recommendations. I prayed God might keep my new child. an afternoon before her appointment she replaced her recommendations. in the present day I also have a astonishing son who will quickly turn 19 years.
