To be honest, "weird" isn't a very favorable thing anyone can call somebody. I've been called weird by a few people in college. Even though I knew quite a lot of people there, I take solace in the fact that hopefully those that found me that way were in the minority. Then again, I'll never know. Did I forget to mention that I spectacularly obsess way to much with what others think of me?
Back to your situation, tell him to piss off. Seriously, don't take that.

well don't get depressed but u should show a little emotion. i have the same problem but i am best friends with him and i am looking at other guys even though i still really like him and if he askes me out i will just say yes. so just wait and look at other guys.

no, you shouldn't be upset. if he thinks you are weird, then he just doesn't get you. and in that case, he's not worth getting upset over.
