You know Dasani is just normal water, distilled. Now distilled water has absolutely no flavo(u)r to us, so the Coca Cola Corporation add in a little mineral or two to give some taste.
So, they take the water from the mains system, distil it, add salt (cheap, cheap, cheap) & sell it to you for aroudn $1.25 a bottle.
I would buy a real, natural mineral water instead of this manufactured horror. (Incidentally one cannot buy Dasani in the UK any more, mainly because it was found to be tainted).

I love Dasani. They don't add salt. They add some kind of refreshing mineral.

Actually a little bit of salt is healthy for you, especailly if you are an athlete or in extreme heat. It helps to keep you from getting dehydrated.

Most water companies add minerals to their water for taste. Check the label, it might say something like: "Minerals added for taste in nutritionally insignificant amounts."

Maybe because sodium makes you thirsty, so then you have to drink more of their water...more profit?
