We have a common ancestor with a fish, with a lizard, with monkeys and chimpanzees. It might be a common ancestor from 100 million years ago or 200 million years ago or 500 million years ago, but yes, yes we do have a common ancestor with every living animal on this Earth. It all goes back to one cell.

What religion teaches this, if there are many, which are they. Are any religions that teach anything else, are they false religions?

Thanks! Put your cart to the wheel please and answer.

Mainstream (i.e., non-fundamentalist) Christianity certainly accepts this. I wouldn't say that fundamentalist Christianity is ipso facto "false" across the board, since I know some kind and generous fundamentalists. But there are some fundamental problems, IMHO.

We are not descended from anything. We are not an evolutionary process. If we were, why are there still fish, lizards, monkeys, and chimps. God made us perfect and we have not changed from his design. You can yelp and talk in circles all you care to. Your theory has no proof. Our absolute proof to the unbelievers in Christ will come soon enough. I wonder if you'll have enough strength of conviction in what you believe to survive it. When it comes, will you try to remember that we tried to tell you for your own good or will you curse us for being right? As to every living thing having a common ancestor, why isn't every living thing exactly alike?

Do you know enough about evolution to say its definetley right?
Where'd you read about it? from an article? Have you ever studied evolution in depth?

You are using borrowed knowledge with no experience, you dont understand religion or evolution.

To answer your stupid question, scientology beleives in evolution.

2 Peter 2:12 But these, as anatural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly bperish in their own corruption;

Jude 1:8. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

Do you consider yourself to be a good person? Most people do. However, most of us differ as to the definition of "good." Let's see if you are! Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we've only looked at three of the Ten Commandments. That's how God sees you. Nothing is hid from His holy eyes. The Bible says that God will punish all murderers, rapists, thieves, liars, adulterers, etc. He will even judge our words and thoughts. On Judgment Day, will you be found to be guilty or innocent of breaking His commandments? God's Law demands justice, and the penalty for sinning against Him is death and Hell. . There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. Where are your beliefs leading you too? You know where! For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Repent!

What does God call it? Preach love too you? Lets see what God says, to do with you.

You have unbeliever's. Chaff, Scoffers.

An Atheist is a scoffer. The WORD of God, clearly tells you the filhty rags they are, and to stay away from them, and avoid them. We are NOT to plant seeds. God knows it is useless and that is why he tells us, "You stand firm against them" ( Jer.17:8 14:1 Iah 44:4) You disassociate them completely. Any Believer that does not abide in God's own Word, does not know God, according too God Himself. Atheists are "chaff" A simile of the wretchedness of the wicked. Chaff is carried away by the lightest wind, and it's removal brings about cleansing by extracting what is utterly useless. (Ruth 1:22). They will NOT stand in the judgment. They will NOT be able to withstand God's wrath when He judges.( Paslams 76:7 Exra 9:15). This is not my opinion, this is God's very own Words, in the Bible. You know, the BIble? The same Bible atheist scholars quote. There is a reason God, said this. Psalms.1.1-3 Jer. 17:8 14:1 12. 1-2 18:9-10 Prov1.10-19 (vs 5) scoffers:(atheists) those who ridicule God and definatley reject His Law. Prov 1.:22 Ruth 1:22 Jer 18:7 (pull down-destroy) 1:10 (evil-calamity) 18:11

Pslams 1:
godly wisdom here, declare the final outcome of the two "ways". The paths of "sinners" (unbelievers) and the "way of the righteous. he speaks progressively of assoociation with the ungodly and participation in they're ungodly ways.

God said it. End of Story. Jesus Himself said "Let the dead bury they're dead".

Use all the Internet and Dictionaries they want to and call themselves anything they wish. God "defined" what they are by His own words.

They can hang a dog tag* around they're neck in the pits if hell itself and separate each other by name categorically.

God's Word said it. By God's definition. There is NO opinion.

Hate? Where do you get hate? If God's TRUTH is hate too you, then, so be it. You and God, can and will discuss the means of your sciptural interpretation, consisting with a man-made defacto on a motion of plea bargin I guess. I dunno.

Catholicism does, now at least. Others have mentioned secular humanism, but considering that a religion is defined as the organized worship of a deity, and secular humanism denies the existence of a deity to worship, secular humanism does not qualify as a religion.

Some liberal & moderate Christian churches follow evolution. Up until Benedict XVI, the Catholic church told Catholics to believe in evolution. Don't know if that's true now.
