don't buy from them. A female should wait at least one cycle before getting pregnant again. Most GOOD breeders wait upto a year or more before mating her again. The quality of dog that comes from her won't be as good as one that waits up to a year. It might be weaker or prone to more illness. Size and weight could also play an issue.

dogs are not meant to be breed every cycle. they are ment to be left for a year between litters, and the kennel club wont register the litter if the mum hade one with in a year. (uk)
doing this puts strain on the female,(ive seen females struggle even when given a years rest) as they need time to recoperate from the birth and nursing. so doing this is irrsponsible. (this is what puppie farms do and thats why there dogs are in bad shape)
BUT some breed of dogs only come in to season 1 a year, like basenjies (my faverot breed) so as long as there in good condition it is possible to breed every heat.

It depends, but in general I would think they were irresponsible and putting too much stress on the animal, as well as serving as a puppy mill. This sort of breeding does not take into account the animal's well-being and serves mainly just to generate income. It is not illegal, but I feel it to be immoral.

If there was demand for all the puppies, and by that I mean responsible owners who wanted them, and the dog was cleared by the vet for this level of breeding, I would be less opposed, but I think that is very, VERy rare in these sort of cases.

I think that would depend on how often the dogs' heat cycle comes around. If the person is a friend of yours - why not have them ask their vet if it is or isn't in the best interest of the dog.

Be a friend - they might not be aware that there is anything wrong.
Then again maybe they have been advised about whether this is advisable or not - by their vet.

I think that person is a backyard breeder, one who breeds her dog for fun.Backyard breeders are the worst kind. Not only is her dog suffering, she will eventually kill her dog. Irresponsible, selfish,no thought for her dog.

Well if they're a dog breeder, why not? But I would feel bad for the animals, that's a lot on the poor mama dog. I can understand it, but it sounds a little harsh.

People with breeding bitches really should wait around for the right sires for their litters, not just try to churn out puppies. Sounds like the breeder is in it for the money, which is unethical.

I think that is draining a dog, and not allowing it to recoup after a litter. Give the poor dog a brake. If the person cares, then they will let the dog have a brake to just be a dog.

i became decrease than the effect that wild canines do no longer pass into warmth each and every 6 months like kin canines, so that they are waiting to recuperate completely past to being bred back, although i'm no longer somewhat worried approximately what a learn exhibits on the subject of the difficulty of a b*tch's uterus. there is merely one element of her physique and not the only ingredient depleted for the duration of being pregnant and nursing. i've got considered how drawn out a b*tch is after her clutter is weaned, and breeding her back a pair of short months later isn't something i could evaluate

It seems to be bad for the dog's insides from what I understand. She should be given a break and allowed to skip a heat and really only have one or two litters each year.
