Nope. A cat named Spot is perfectly wonderful. I'm sure Spot likes the name.

Yes, Spot is a rubbish name for a cat. Then again my boy was learning to count when we bought him a rabbit so named it "One" and that kind of fits well now. Spot is a less rubbish name than "One" but we love our bunny and I'm sure you love your cat.

If I can quote The Bard:

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other word would smell as sweet."

It's a cool name. I have a cat named Mousebreath and another named Debussy after the 19th century French composer, Claude Debussy.............. Get it? "Clawed" Debussy.
