If it's hot - water, water , water.
Water balloons, a plastic kiddy pool ( $12.00 at Walmart ) get a couple small balls to bounce around. Sprinkler or hose them down.
My kids still played in sand at that age.
Get a second kiddy pool - maybe the small one ( $6.00 at Walmart )
add play sand ( last time I bought it it was at Toys R Us, can't remember how much also I think Home Depot and Lowes might have it)
or
( I used to buy some other sand at one of the grocery stores it was cheaper).
Cover with a board or cats will use it.
Add a few sand toys and they will play for hours. Watch the sun - lots of sun block.
Plant some flowers or herbs in pots. They can watch them grow.
If you have room or time for a pet. A dog can really get the girls moving. Make it a new responsibility for them and they will learn.
But remember - they are children and ultimately you will be responsible for the dog. So be prepared for that. Been there, done that, but I was ready for a dog myself. If they drop the ball, and don't take care of the dog, I make sure it gets done.
Go on a scavenger hunt.Look for leaves or rocks. Get a library book on flowers or trees or bugs and see if they can find and identify them. In your neighborhood or at the park. Bugs too. Especially butterflies. These all work well as an ' I spy ' game.

This site has some games you probably played as a kid and just forgot. I know I've forgotton a lot. Like red lite green lite.
There are other links I didn't try too.
Whatever you do have fun with them, they grow up fast.

Did you ever go to a store called Toys R Us? They have oodles of games and activities you and your daughters can play and do outside. Do they have any jump ropes? Do they know how to play lawn dice? How about making them a bean bag toss target game for them to play? All you need is two socks (old ones) cut in half. Sew the one end together and fill it with any kind of dry beans, then sew the other end if there is another end to sew. Take a large piece of cardboard and draw different shaped circles on them and number them starting with 20 to 100. Cut the centers out of the circles. Use another piece of cardboard to help stand it up and be sturdy enough to withstand the impact of throwing the bean bag at the targets. There you have a target game you can play with them!
Think about all the games you used to play when you were that age and give them some ideas. Interact and participate with your kids! What a wonderful way to spend some quality time with your children.
Good luck and I hope this was helpful.

I know this is really late, but that's what most kids remember from the 90's. To me, I remembered when the Gameboy Color came out and the craze (from where I'm at) of getting your favorite color. Kids obsessed with collecting Pokemon cards. Some kids had tamagotchis. I remembered when we had the N64, some of the games wouldn't work, so I had to blow on the cartridge. For music, the only I thing I remembered was the Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Nsync, Eminem making his first appearance and starting out, etc. Sadly, I remembered the fashion......ankle boots, belly tops, crocs, low-rise and boot-cut pants (late 90's thing), large hoop earrings (another late 90's thing), etc. BQ: 1995 :D

My daughter is very bored right now too. She's 11 and I don't want to do to help her either. I told her to go outside and play. That only lasted for a couple minutes. So now she's upstairs in her room, doing god knows what.

Hopscotch, lemonade stand, jump rope, ride bikes, let them plant flowers and take care of them, scavenger hunt, some girls even like playing with Matchbox cars in the dirt and sand, get them batons and pompoms they can play with outside, hula hoop, bubbles, let them wash your car, run through the sprinkler, catch ladybugs, paint rocks, have a picnic lunch to name a few. Good luck!
